Out For Lunch

Lunch Time

“But I will take O’Hara’s advice: even among 18-story buildings and subway stations, I will try my hardest to never forget to eat lunch.” — Sarah Andrews (very intelligent young woman). Her blog is called It’s All On The Line. And it is linked right HERE

We still need to go on that dinner date.

I agree with her assertion that sandwiches are a beautiful way to break up the haze of everyday life. You could be boring and put no effort into making a sandwich.

Other Thoughts

I’m drinking decaf at 2 in the morning rippin zyns. The amount of meals I’ve skipped in the last 2 days has put me in quite the daze. For real, yesterday all I had was lunch. I enjoyed the company way more than the fish fry. I absolutely love my new internship that I landed through the grace of God and a good amount of persistence.

I have found meaning in it. Cross Purpose is legitimately a little window into the coming KINGDOM. They will be linked HERE.

Grampling + Gramps

Tomorrow my grandpa who I don’t know that well. Or as well I would like to. Since he’s gonna die too. I hope to build a rudimentary bookshelf with him using the maple wood I scrounged around for at a random custom loom factory in Boulder, Colorado that I picked up for my cutting board that I parted with as soon as I put the last touches on it. (It made for a great gift).

Growing Old and Staying Young

I am being a kid and a man at the same time. Is that what being a young man is like? Finding work, not getting paid. Just as it should be at this current season. I also missed a spring like Sarah did. Then I wasted my summer in depression. I don’t labels but that is what it was. I will try and not lose hope, my bones yearn for spring. I hope I can make it. And if I don’t, so be it. As Ester put it boldly, “If I perish, I perish”.

Horrible Financial Advice

Best time to go broke is before you turn 30. So I’m not afraid to make that happen ASAP. My credit card statement backs that up. The nice thing about money is you can always make more of it. I will refuse to worship it because it makes a terrible god.
